John Collier, Managing Director of LMI Ltd, has announced the (re) acquisition of COLLIERS Insurance Services with effect from 1st November 2010. All of COLLIERS current staff have transferred to LMI with the business and John has stated that he personally guarantees that the high service level that COLLIERS clients have come to expect will continue and hopefully improve by being part of a larger, but still a family run business.
The COLLIERS office in Welling closed on 27th October 2010 and re-opened on Monday 1st November 2010 at Mill House. All of the COLLIERS telephone & FAX numbers and email addresses have been taken over by LMI Ltd and all staff are working hard to ensure that clients are not inconvenienced in any way as a result of this acquisition.
John, together with his brother Chris, started the COLLIERS business in 1983 and during the 1980’s acquired three other insurance brokers. In 2000 the COLLIERS business was sold, but John & Chris continued in the insurance industry as specialist brokers trading from their own office building, Mill House, in Dartford with their company LMI Ltd.
John Collier comments that he is looking forward to serving all of the COLLIERS clients, meeting new faces and re-acquainting himself with old friends.
